My Heart Is Racing feat. Fredy Muks (Live Acoustic)
by Fatima · 2021 · kompa, zouk · 4:53 · Haitian Creole, French
The live acoustic version of “My Heart Is Racing” appeared one month after the audio Fatima Altieri and DJ Fredy Muks released at the end of 2020. It runs almost a minute longer than the base version, reaching four minutes and fifty-three seconds. The acoustic form removes some production pressure to foreground voice, timing, and live interaction. Kompa and zouk remain in the record, but the arrangement changes how they breathe. This page documents a performance reworking, not the same experience as the studio collaboration with its own description.
