Beni
by Gabel · 2022 · kompa · 5:58 · Haitian Creole, French
“Beni” places gratitude at the center of Gabel’s kompa love. Its official video appeared in late 2022 through Flav’s channel, and nearly six minutes give the singer time to develop the idea of blessing without hurry. Gabel comes from Miami’s HMI circuit, where a clear hook, smooth voice, and bal cadence must work together for a song to enter public life quickly. This track keeps that discipline but shifts its emotional center from simple desire toward appreciation. It sounds like someone counting what has been received, not only what remains absent.
