PAKA Fè PITIT

Gabel invites Masterbrain onto “Paka Fè Pitit,” a 2016 kompa track whose title raises a question before the first note has settled. Konpaevents’ official video makes the collaboration explicit, and more than twenty-three million views show that the song reached beyond a single dance cycle. Gabel builds its identity on sentimental kompa and direct phrases; here, Masterbrain’s presence adds another personality to that frame. A running time beyond five minutes gives the refrains and responses enough space to register.
