Kiyès Ou Ye

“Kiyès Ou Ye” arrives as an Orchestre Septentrional rehearsal for carnival 2026 rather than a final street recording. The video lasts four minutes and nineteen seconds and reveals a working stage where the band places the question “who are you?” inside an arrangement. Horns, rhythm, and voices are still finding their places before the crowd enters. The rehearsal format has value of its own: it documents the method of an institution active since 1948, where collective discipline prepares public energy. The title asks about identity; the process shows Septent's sonic identity being built.
