Pakou

“Pakou” is a Septent video for carnival 2026 lasting two minutes and seven seconds. Instead of a nearly ten-minute track with full street development, this page resembles a brief document of the orchestra's route through the season. The title means a route or journey, and image and sound can put movement, band, and crowd in front without lengthy explanation. For Orchestre Septentrional, the route carries historical meaning: a Cap-Haïtien institution moves through its own city and calendar. Brevity concentrates on motion rather than an extended arrangement.
