Se Pa W Mwen Ye Vice
by Alan Cavé · 2014 · kompa, zouk · 4:53 · Haitian Creole, French
Alan Cavé's source restores both title and guest: "Se Pa W Mwen Ye" features T-Vice. The first-person phrase draws a boundary around possession; the voice says it does not belong to the other person, although metadata does not say whether it ends a relationship, corrects an assumption, or defends freedom. The 2014 recording runs four minutes and fifty-three seconds between kompa and zouk. T-Vice may turn the boundary into dialogue, but this page assigns neither side an unverifiable position. The title remains firm even if melody is gentle. That creates the track's tension: an arrangement may invite closeness while its central phrase refuses to let closeness mean ownership.
