Pratike Sa Ou Preche
by Disip · 2024 · kompa · 6:17 · Haitian Creole, French
The title “Pratike Sa Ou Preche” takes the form of moral advice, a tone already present in the catalog of Disip and Gazzman Couleur. This 2024 single runs beyond six minutes, so the band does not treat its idea as a hurried message. Kompa gives Gazzman's theatrical voice a base for pauses, forceful entries, and returns to a phrase. After albums concerned with love, pride, faith, and self-respect, the track brings out his preacher-like side without leaving the dance-band format.
