Safe
by Michaël Brun · 2024 · electro-kompa · 3:17 · Haitian Creole, French
“Safe” brings Michaël Brun, John Legend, and Rutshelle Guillaume together on a 2024 audio track that places electro-kompa inside an international conversation. The title names safety, but in a relationship song that word can mean more than the absence of danger. It may describe trust, rest, or the sense that someone need not hide their vulnerable side. John Legend brings a globally known soul voice, Rutshelle brings HMI force and phrasing, and Brun builds the space where those presences meet. Three minutes and seventeen seconds keep the collaboration focused. The official billing places all three names forward, fitting a recording defined by the bridges it creates.
