1+1 Acoustic Performance
by Naïka · 2023 · chanson · 3:40 · Haitian Creole, French
In this acoustic performance of “1+1,” Naïka removes part of the pop production so voice, melody, and phrases sit closer to the listener. She published the video on her official channel in 2023, and the version runs three minutes and forty seconds. As a diaspora artist raised among several cultures, Naïka often uses language and sound as places to search for emotional home. The acoustic format makes the title’s addition feel more personal, like two people testing what they can build together without much decoration around them.
