L'esprit de Noël
by Nu-Look · 2018 · kompa, kompa-gouyad · 6:28 · Haitian Creole, French
“L'esprit de Noël” places Nu-Look inside the holiday season on a kompa track released December 22, 2018. Six minutes and twenty-eight seconds give Arly Larivière and the band time to put Christmas spirit into keyboards, melody, and a groove suited to both dance rooms and family gatherings. The French title carries warmth, sharing, and seasonal memory without requiring an invented story. Beside Nu-Look's relationship ballads, the address is more collective: emotion does not remain between two people but opens onto a period recognized by an entire community.
