“Ma Moitié” names someone as the other half of a life, and Nu-Look gives that image nearly seven minutes of kompa and gouyad. The visualizer appeared in December 2023 through the Arly Larivière NuLook channel, with the maestro’s voice and keyboards at the center of an unhurried arrangement. Its French title fits the band’s diaspora catalog, where relationships gain gravity through languages crossing Caribbean markets. Gouyad makes the halves physical: two people must find the same speed and cadence while the band supplies the structure of a bal.
