My Feelings
by Nu-Look · 2024 · kompa, kompa-gouyad · 6:26 · English, Haitian Creole, French
My Feelings went up on the Arly Lariviere Nulook channel in December 2023, not a distributor's — so the band put it out itself. That difference matters in a catalogue where most of the older Nu-Look arrives through Topic channels. Six minutes twenty-six in the band's signature: melody, emotional weight, polished kompa. An English title on a 2024 kompa record aims at a diaspora audience that does not need Creole to feel the song.
