Apiye feat. Zile
by Roody Roodboy · 2025 · kompa, dancehall · 3:45 · Haitian Creole, French
ZiLE joins Roody Roodboy on "Apiye," a 2025 collaboration that brings two experienced paths together. Roody contributes his direct way of moving among kompa, dancehall, and Haitian pop; ZiLE brings Anie Alerte's voice and the collective frame of her new project. The title is brief, almost like an instruction to press or lean, while the track runs three minutes and forty-five seconds. Roody's dance rhythm meets a different vocal color without either side erasing the other.
