Babylon feat. BélO
by Roody Roodboy · 2023 · kompa, dancehall · 3:55 · Haitian Creole, French
Roody Roodboy invites BélO onto “Babylon,” a 2023 lyrics video bringing kompa and dancehall into one space. BélO carries a reggae background and social writing beside Roody's urban pop and collaborative energy, giving the title more weight than a simple party track. The recording lasts three minutes and fifty-five seconds, enough for both voices without becoming a large cast like “Kokoye.” Visible words help listeners follow the meeting, while rhythm keeps the song within Roody's popular catalog.
