Block Ou
by Steves J. Bryan · 2023 · dancehall · 3:37 · Haitian Creole, French
"Block Ou" takes a phone or social-media action and puts it directly in the title: block you. Steves J. Bryan released the 2023 dancehall video in a three-minute, thirty-seven-second form. That current language fits an artist whose music circulates through phones, clubs, and the street at once. Creole and French are cataloged, while the title uses an English verb already absorbed into everyday speech.
