Le Plein

Le Plein shows Zafem at its most concentrated: Dener Céide's guitar, Réginald Cangé's voice, space, restraint, and kompa that refuses to hurry through five and a half minutes. It arrived on 5 May 2023, the same day the duo posted fourteen tracks at once, Sanpousan and Dlo Dous among them. The restraint is earned rather than stylistic: both men had already passed through Zenglen, Fasil and years of stage work before starting this project, and the sound is what two musicians do when neither of them needs to prove anything.
