You Don't Want Me

“You Don't Want Me” places a direct English phrase inside Klass’s first major period. The official video appeared in 2014, two years after Richie founded the band, and its six-plus minutes give the maestro’s drums, keyboards, bass, and Pipo Stanis’s voice room to work. The title sounds like a painful conclusion, but the kompa does not stop at rejection. Disciplined arranging turns the feeling into bal movement, where one person can sing a private truth while the room continues dancing. That balance of relationship writing and musical precision is central to Klass.
