Klass is the band founded in 2012 by Jean Hérard Richard, Richie, after his departure from Zenglen. From the beginning, the project was built around a clear idea of kompa: maestro discipline, tight arrangements, experienced musicians, and a lead singer capable of holding the dance floor, Pipo Stanis. The band's official biography places the original lineup around Richie, Pipo, El Pozo, Nickson Mesidor, and other players who already understood HMI rules.
Richie brings his full history as drummer, composer, producer, and former Zenglen architect.
