Burn Slow
by Naïka · 2021 · chanson · 2:11 · English, French, Haitian Creole
Burn Slow comes from Lost in Paradïse, Pt. 2, and the title is the instruction: burn slowly, not fast. Naïka makes a sensual song without letting it turn heavy — supple rhythm, precise voice, diaspora-facing pop warmth. Two minutes eleven only, which makes the control more visible still: there is no time to lose control if you were not holding it from the start. Released in June 2021, two months after Sauce, in a period of short and frequent releases.
