Don't Lie
by Naïka · 2021 · chanson · 2:37 · English, French, Haitian Creole
Don't Lie sets Naïka in a direct pop/R&B lane: a clear hook, clean production, and relationship writing that connects Haitian diaspora identity without shutting itself into one language or one market. That is a demanding position to hold: it would be simpler to pick a market and optimise for it. Two minutes thirty-seven, released in October 2021. The title is an instruction — do not lie — and the song keeps the same directness in how it is made.
