H2O
by Naïka · 2022 · chanson · 3:37 · English, Haitian Creole, French
"H2O" uses water's chemical formula as the title of a Naïka track from TRANSITIONS. The 2022 official video runs three minutes and thirty-seven seconds and gives the chanson a visual language suited to her multicultural pop. The title needs no translation even as Creole and French remain cataloged. On a project also using images such as "Guava" and "M&M's for Breakfast," water becomes another everyday object able to suggest need, body, or closeness without an invented lyrical story.
