Lanmou Dous Makòs feat. BIC
by Vanessa Désiré · 2023 · kompa, rnb, rap-kreyol · 3:22 · Haitian Creole, French
Vanessa Désiré and BIC released “Lanmou Dous Makòs” on Valentine's Day 2023. The title uses a Haitian sweet as a local texture for love, while BIC brings Kreyòl writing accustomed to imagery and wordplay beside Vanessa's melodic voice. The track runs three minutes and twenty-two seconds, with kompa, R&B, and Kreyòl rap in its record. The duet credit makes the page a meeting of two writing approaches rather than merely a love song choosing an obvious promotional date.
