Ranfò
by Vanessa Désiré · 2022 · kompa, rnb, rap-kreyol · 3:40 · Haitian Creole, French
Vanessa Désiré released “Ranfò” on the same June 2022 date as “Twòp Tan,” but this title asks for or provides support rather than measuring a delay. It runs three minutes and forty seconds, with kompa, R&B, and Kreyòl rap in the record. No guest appears, leaving Vanessa's voice to move alone between melody and direct speech. In the year of the project Fòs, “Ranfò” adds a word from the same family of resilience ideas. The two pages share an era but not the same emotional center.
