Too Late feat. Nelo Ville
by Vanessa Désiré · 2022 · kompa, rnb, rap-kreyol · 4:39 · Haitian Creole, French
Vanessa Désiré invites Nelo Ville onto “Too Late,” a 2022 track taking four minutes and thirty-nine seconds to develop its dialogue. Kompa, R&B, and Kreyòl rap share the record, the same lines allowing Vanessa to move between soft melody and a direct position. The English title announces a moment already passed, while Nelo Ville gives the other side of the conversation a voice. Released in the Fòs year, the song places relationship choice in a collaborative form distinct from the solo “Twòp Tan” of the same period.
